Profession: As for a profession - I have had a career change. I am currently a Physical Therapist at Richland Rehabilitation - the new nursing home behind safeway in North Richland. I was an engineer working big construction in seattle, and just became burned out. Nothing in engineering seemed fun anymore, so I made a change. It has been great so far. My wife was an Associate Dean at Edmonds Community College when we lived in Seattle. She worked her tail off while I went to school for 3 years. So, now she gets to stay home with the kiddo's. She is working on her own grad degree, so she does that too. She is a real go-getter. | |
| Current Residence: We have moved back to Richland after 7 years in Seattle. It was great to be there when it was just my wife Melissa and I, but now we have 2 kids and thought it was time to return to a smaller, more laid-back community. So here we are. We are currently proving that no bird is to big to return to the nest - we have moved into my dad's place. It is a zoo, but the price is Right. We will be getting a new address soon, just trying to find some dirt to build a house on. | ||

Profession: I have a fun profession in Parks and Recreation through the City of Vancouver. My degree is in Recreation Management. I manage an 80,000 sq’ foot new built recreation center that has a leisure pool, climbing wall, fitness center, gymnasium, birthday party rooms, teen center, senior center, class rooms and banquet rooms. We have a team of 23 benefited employees and 150 part-time employees. Our team is so much fun and I am surrounded by friends every day. Although it is fun, I still want to win the lotto like everyone else. | |

Profession: Prior to the girls, I worked in city government (community development) and owned a small bridal company. Post-kids, Jon and I both felt it important for me to stay home with them so that is where I devote most of my time/energy now. Although Gia started Kindergarten this year, I still have a bit to go with Ella. I was hired by our church as their Communications Coordinator (part-time, out of the home mostly) which I enjoy because I get a little adult interaction and am able to speak more than the typical two-syllabal words. I plan on a career change once both girls are in school. I am in the process (part-time) of getting my MA in Counseling Psychology/PhD in School Psychology. | |
